Garden Club speaker explores potential of outdoor spaces
The Bowen Island Garden Club’s guest speaker, Ruth Olde, will be speaking about “Creating Garden Rooms” on Monday, November 21, at 1 p.m. at the Gallery at Artisan Square.
This is what Ruth has to say about her presentation:
“To create a user friendly outdoor environment, you need a user friendly design. This presentation is about spaces you might have overlooked or disregarded, and how to make them look like the magazine photos you covet. Perhaps they could become your cozy outdoor living room – or breakfast nook – or window seat to curl up in. With a design, the ominous space outside the walls of your home can be divided into rooms, and constructed one room at a time. This saves time, energy and money – and takes the fear out of getting started.”
Guests ($3.00 drop-in fee) and new members welcome.
