Movie night benefits IPS excursions

BRAVEphoto.jpg

Yet another fun filled movie day is presented by IPS. The movie Brave will be shown on Saturday, October 13, at 3:30 p.m. at Cates Hill Chapel. A concession of popcorn, cupcakes and juice will be provided for additional money. Tickets for the movie will be available at IPS or Phoenix for only $5. You also can buy tickets at the front door (unless they sell out before the movie day). The movie rating is PG in the US or G in Canada and is 100 minutes long, for more details, you can visit the Internet movie database (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1217209/) or commonsensemedia.org (which recommends no kids under age seven). The raffle draw tickets cost two dollars for one and five dollars for three. The raffle prize is two Tuscany pizzas, two free movie rentals, two bags of microwave popcorn and one Tuscany salad. The raffle draw will be at 5:30 p.m. “and may the odds be ever in your favour”. All of the proceeds from the movie day and raffle will go to IPS excursions like the Grade 9 Quebec trip and the Grade 7 tall ship sailing trip.
