Finland trip filled with many "yahoo" moments for Bowen gymnasts

After a year of intense fundraising and training, 10 Bowen Island gymnasts finally got on a plane for Finland, with hoola hoops and cowboy hats, to join Team Canada at the 2015 World Gymnaestrada event in Helsinki, Finland.

After a year of intense fundraising and training, 10 Bowen Island gymnasts finally got on a plane for Finland, with hoola hoops and cowboy hats, to join Team Canada at the 2015 World Gymnaestrada event in Helsinki, Finland.

 For our closeknit team, Helsinki was 10 exhilarating days of performing gymnastics. More than 20,000 athletes from 50 countries attended this amazing event. 

 Congratulations to our team who performed at their absolute best while under the pressure of the world watching their showmanship everywhere they went.
