Juno nominated children’s perfomer Will Stroet is coming to Bowen Island on June 11. All proceeds from the concert will go towards the Bowen Island Children's Park.

If you’re a new parent like me, it’s likely that you’re discovering the world of children’s entertainment little by little and fiercely scouring the Vancouver area for things to do with the wee ones. There’s more out there than YouTube nursery rhymes and Paw Patrol. Let’s kick off the summer right and set the standard high. On June 11th, Bowen Island welcomes award winning and Juno Nominated Will Stroet. He’s the Star of TV series Will’s Jams on CBC kids and Kidoodle and he’s in high demand these days. He’s been touring the country engaging children and inducing boogies to his rock, pop and blues inspired bi-lingual music. His songs about imagination, vegetables, hygiene, sports, art (to name a few) are sure to get your kids thinking and moving.

It’s going to be fun! Bring blankets and pillows for a picnic style concert. Chantal Russel, owner of Bowen Island Yoga, will lead the children in a warm up before the show. Smoothies, lunchy snacks and the Orchard’s famous lasagna and veggie lasagna will be available for purchase.

Support this concert and fund Bowen’s new Nature Scape Children’s park innovated by local dad, Nick Mitchell. It’s currently under works and phase 1 is expected to be done by the end of summer.

Tickets are available for purchase at the Phoenix and The Soapbox.
