Four men have been charged with assault following an attack on a man in Vancouver earlier this year.

John Daniel Bernardino, Aldrin Edward Caranto, Dustin Wing Kin Tam and Kevin Ngoc Truong appeared in Vancouver Provincial Court on Nov. 24.

Court documents show the attack on Eric Kim happened Aug. 27.

Vancouver Police Department spokesperson Const. Tania Visintin said officers responded to a school near Boundary and East 45th Avenue for reports of an assault between a group of young men.

“The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization,” Visintin said.

The accused appeared before Judge Jennifer Oulton, all dressed identically in a white shirt and dark pants.

Oulton released the men on conditions, including an order to stay away from Kim and one other man.
