Bowen Island Resilient Community Housing (BIRCH) is so pleased to be partnering with the municipality to create new affordable rental housing on Lot 3 of the community lands. One of our most important next steps is to establish a project advisory group.
The purpose of this group is to engage with a cross section of community members about the project: to review progress, provide feedback and direction, and assist in policy and decision making (for example – who will qualify for the below-market units). We plan to meet every three months or so, for about two-to-three hours.

We will accept applications until October 15 and hope to have our first meeting by the end of October/early November.
