Photo: Bowen bus driver stopped in Vancouver traffic to save eight little goslings

Peter King was headed down a busy Vancouver street when he stopped, got out and helped the goslings through traffic

The Bowen Express Bus was a little less express than usual Monday but for an adorable reason. 

Bas Brusche was a passenger on Peter King's bus and sent in this photo.

"Peter suddenly stopped the bus in busy traffic on West Georgia street," explained Bas in an email. "He spotted a pair of Canada geese and at least eight goslings in the middle of the road.

"Peter ran out of the bus, and patiently helped the geese get to safety, lifting some goslings over the curb on to the grass. Obviously there was a large line-up behind his bus, but Peter was awarded by the passengers with a large round of applause."
