Chance of showers to dampen sunny streak in Metro Vancouver this weekend

The Environment Canada Metro Vancouver weather forecast for April 27 to May 3, 2023, includes a soggy end to the region's sunny streak over the weekend.

Metro Vancouver's sunny streak is expected to come to a soggy end this weekend.

The week had a cloudy and damp start but switched to bluebird skies and sunshine on Wednesday (April 26). The warm weather will continue in Metro Vancouver until Saturday and even break 20 C.

Though it may feel like summer for a moment, rain is set to expected to return on Sunday with a 30 per cent chance of showers. Temperatures will also dip down to 13 C on Sunday but climb back up to 16 C on Monday.

Monday isn't expected to be rainy but clouds will remain. 

Sunny weather will briefly return on Tuesday, peeking through a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures reaching 20 C.

The following day, Wednesday, will be cloudy again but still warm with temperatures hitting 18 C.
