Swifties, this is not a drill: Taylor Swift will be hitting the stage in Vancouver with her wildly successful powerhouse Eras Tour.
Swift announced three Vancouver shows: December 6, 7, 8, 2024 at BC Place on Thursday, Nov. 2, ending months of speculation about the possibility she would - or would not - visit another Canadian city besides Toronto.
The Grammy-winning superstar, whose Eras Tour film is currently screening at movie theatre across the globe, is about to resume her world tour soon with dates in South America.
As music fans known, snagging tickets to see Swift is a hot commodity. Ticketmaster has opened registration now through Nov. 4 for fans to be in contention to get a coveted invite to buy tickets for the Vancouver shows.
Here's the info you need to enter the Verified Fan Sale Registration:
Fans can register HERE through November 4 at 5 p.m. PT. Tickets will go on sale starting Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023. Only fans that receive an email confirming their access will be able to join the queue at the start of this Verified Fan Onsale, and others may be admitted off a wait list if currently available inventory remains. Fans selected to get access to the sale will receive a unique access code and link via text message the day prior to their Verified Fan Onsale. Additional information can be found  HERE.
There are a couple of other ways to get tickets that don't involve begging, borrowing, or stalking resellers.
As they did for the Toronto shows, Avion Rewards will open up a separate registration for ticket buying for its members.
The Avion Rewards member unique registration page opens on Nov. 2, 2023 at 8 a.m. PDT and closes on Nov 8, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Register for the opportunity to purchase tickets via their registration portal. When registering, you will be asked to provide the email address associated with your Avion Rewards membership. You do not need to be an RBC client or hold an RBC product to become an Avion Rewards member.
Contests and other ticket giveaways are in the works; it's likely local radio stations will be getting in on the action. Through a PR rep, presenting sponsor Rogers has already let V.I.A. know they will be doing giveaways, noting: "Rogers will give Canadians access to premium tickets in both Toronto and Vancouver." Expect more details in the near future.
The Vancouver shows bring Taylor's confirmed dates in Canada to nine total.
