It's not known, as of this publication, Dec. 27, if the prize has been claimed or where in New West the slip was bought. Players are being encouraged to double- and triple-check their numbers.

It was also one of two six-figure paydays for B.C. residents from the same Guaranteed draw. The other winner bought their ticket in Penticton.

"All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize," BCLC has previously stated.

"The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners' name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize."

The Lotto 6/49 classic jackpot from the Dec. 23 draw was $5 million, and the winning ticket was sold in Québec.

No one won the $16-million Gold Ball prize draw, but someone in Ontario won the White Ball jackpot of $1 million.
