The Vancouver Design Nerds (VDN), in partnership with Foxglove Community Housing Trust, will be hosting a community engagement session on the topic of housing on Bowen Island. VDN is a non-profit society that facilitates, promotes and supports positive social, environmental and urban transformation by providing a platform for face-to-face creative collaboration. Foxglove Community Housing Trust is a new non-profit organization whose mission is the provision of appropriate and truly affordable homes for working individuals and families in proximity to employment, educational facilities, and amenities in their own communities. If you would like to join with your community and help design what the future of housing could be on Bowen (for you, your parents, your children, your friends, your neighbours, and the people who work in the shops you enjoy) please join in on Saturday, Sept. 24, 1-4 p.m. at Cates Hill Chapel.
