On September 19, 2016 the Bowen Island Garden Club welcomes Bill Bischoff who will give us a presentation on Cyclamens, winter and early spring varieties. Bill, who is a member of the Cyclamen Society of England and an avid grower of cyclamens, will discuss the origins and varieties of the species and how he became acquainted with them. Out of the 22 available varieties Bill successfully grows 18 of them as outdoor plants. He will share his knowledge on how to grow them, where and when to plants the seeds. Seeds will be available for us to try our own hand at growing these delightful plants that deer and rabbit resist and that we can enjoy throughout the winter.
