First Credit Union is saying goodbye to two of its financial service representatives. Jen McGowan is off to Edmonton to get her Master’s degree in public health from the University of Alberta. The former paramedic, who also worked at the vet clinic, will focus on health policies. Jason Campbell will be working on his Master’s degree at the Centre for Digital Media in Vancouver. A born innovator, he’s made apps and games and even devised an irrigation program for his parents’ garden. Joining the staff at the Bowen Island branch are Opal Eriksson and Sophie Taylor. A third representative will arrive in September.
