Snug Cove House volunteers were eager to get Bowfest community feedback about our recent plans regarding selling 12 lots on Miller Road, and the progress on planning our seniors’ supportive living residence. On the lots:
Question: Have you selected the builders who will build the houses on these lots?
Answer: We are in the process of interviewing qualified Bowen-based builders. Building plans will soon be ready to present to these builders so they can determine the estimated cost of each design. We expect to have the builders selected by the end of October 2016.
On the residence:
Question: Can I have a car if I live in Snug Cove House?
Answer: Yes, you can, though there are not enough parking spaces for all residents to have a car. We anticipate that with the close proximity to the cove, the volunteer drivers that the Caring Circle provides, and the local bus service that goes along Miller Road, most residents will find they no longer need or want the bother and expense of a car.
