Spring Break is just around the corner and you will not believe how much fun there is planned with Community Recreation Daycamps. We've got a wide range of activities going on from medieval weaponry to art studios to a good old day of basketball. Camps will run from Mar. 17-21 with different activities happening every day.
Mini Club for 5-7 yr olds will run On Island Adventures from 9am-4pm Monday to Friday. Club Bowen for 8-11yr olds will have both On island Specialty Camps and Off Island Adventures. Monday keeps them on Bowen with Carrie Thiel, fight director for Lord of the Rings, who will motivate their inner hero to fight a knight's battle with staged combat techniques and their own handmade weapons (safe of course). Tuesday is a trip downtown to the BC Sports Hall of Fame guaranteed to inspire while celebrating local athletes. Wednesday we are back on Bowen for a day of rollerblading, hockey skills, and skating drills. Thursday sees us shooting lasers at Laserdome and rock climbing followed by Friday when we head to West Van to do some painting at 4 Cats Art Studio. The fun just never stops! Not only that but 3D Basketball is returning to Bowen Friday Mar. 21 with their top notch coaches for the ever popular basketball camp that will run from 9am-2:45pm and is open to boys and girls ages 10-13years. Wouldn't it be great not to hear "I'm Bored" this Spring Break? Register for individual days or let us entertain your children for the whole week!
