Our local Little League Baseball Team, The Indians, is challenging the Island to help us fill up our food bank. We are embarking on a season long Baseball Hit-A-Thon to raise money and food donations.
There are a few easy ways you can help. Go to our donation web-page www.stepuptotheplate.myevent.com, post your pledge on our Facebook page, or make your donation at First Credit Union.
The kids will also be in front of the store on select weekends accepting donations of non-perishable foods or items can be dropped-off to the team at local games. Games on Bowen will be every Saturday at 1:00 starting from April 19. Come on down and cheer us on!
