Retrospective shows an artist’s evolution

The decision to move out of my house prompted a friend to suggest I mount a retrospective show of my art, and the decision to do so has provided me with the great pleasure of revisiting the many phases, expressions and experiences of my art career.

The decision to move out of my house prompted a friend to suggest I mount a retrospective show of my art, and the decision to do so has provided me with the great pleasure of revisiting the many phases, expressions and experiences of my art career.

My art has taken me to many places in the world, including Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, England, France, Italy and Bruges. I have also had art exhibitions in galleries across Canada in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Victoria, Vancouver and of course Bowen Island. My work has evolved through my family life, taken me to experience the path of my family heritage and opened my eyes to many cultures and friends. Each part of an artist's life is exposed through the artworks and my works seem to show that as true.

My show will be held on Saturday, February 22 from 6.30 to 9.00pm and Sunday, February 23 from 12 noon to 6.30pm at 901 Clipper Place in Bluewater. I hope many will take the opportunity to come view my work and talk about art, life in general and just share time together.
