The ferry to Bowen Island is operating 22 minutes behind schedule.

A press release from B.C. Ferries Monday morning says that berth congestion, cross traffic and high passenger numbers are to blame for the delay.

“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this sailing delay,” says the press release.

B.C. Ferries hasn’t said when regular schedule will be resumed.
