Caring Circle has an agreement from Vancouver Coastal Health that they will give the community the early results of the "My Health My Community" survey, in our efforts to determine our health and wellness needs on Bowen Island. This is a critical step in our march towards determining whether we need a health clinic on Bowen as a means to improve services. To date we have had 320 respondents to the survey on Bowen. Wouldn't it be great to hit 400 before VCH sends these preliminary results? I have asked VCH to give us this information before the end of 2013, so let's take the next few weeks to talk up this survey, and to encourage your friends and family to take the time to do it. Provincial as well as local initiatives will be informed by the results of this important survey, so this is the time to give a voice to your concerns about health care on Bowen.
