It's the end for four cottages in Davies Ochard.
Metro Vancouver will begin dismantling the four historical buildings starting Thursday.
"The Hazmat work on the cottages will take approximately 3 weeks and the deconstruction work will take another 3 weeks," said supervisor of park operations for Metro Vancouver Tom McComb in an email to Bowen Heritage Wednesday. "The work areas will be fenced off for safety allowing restricted public access throughout all phases of the project."
