This week, BC Ferries announced the beginning of public engagement period on schedule changes that will run until early July. This effort will explore options for schedule changes with the public, with the goal of improving the reliability of sailing times for the Horseshoe Bay - Langdale and Snug Cove routes.
“It is very important to us that we engage with the community and hear their feedback on these changes,” says Mark Collins, BC Ferries’ President & CEO. “We know these routes have been particularly challenged by sailing delays and these delays are having an impact on the quality of life and business for Sunshine Coast and Bowen Island residents.”
The engagement program involves a range of activities including focus-group workshops, an online survey, intercept surveys at Langdale and Horseshoe Bay terminals, and presence at community events and public spaces. Have your say at any time through the online survey here.
