Update: Gary Ander is Bowen's mayor elect after a ballot recount Tuesday morning.
"As there was no tie between the number of valid votes cast for the two Mayoral candidates, a judicial recount will not be initiated by the chief election officer," said a BIM press release.
Tuesday, chief elections officer Hope Dallas confirmed that the recount matched the preliminary results.
