On October 5, Bowen Island RCMP received a report from Bowen Island Community School that a couple of the turf field outdoor lights had been vandalized.
The damage was consistent with that of a sling shot shooting a rock to break the glass.
Repairs and replacement are expensive and the turf field had to be closed for after-school use for most of the week.
