There’ll be some leaping and handspringing for joy next week in the Bowen Island Community School gym. After more than a year and a half, Bowen Island Gymnastics Club is starting up again.
The week of Aug.16 through 20, the club is offering a gymnastics camp for kids aged five through 16 and a fall program is set to be announced soon.
“We’re excited to be getting back,” says program director Lisa Brougham, as gymnastics has been on hold since March 2020. For more information, visit bowengymnastics.com.
