The West Van U14 girls team the Strikers came first in their division! Over half the team is made up of Bowen Island Girls and is coached by Bowen dream team of Nils and Peter Blomberg. On Sunday they played in the Championships against a team from Surrey. They tied the game 3:3 leading to overtime. They tied 4:4 in 20 min over time they tied in 5 shoot outs leading to sudden death penalty shots and lost.
