Bowen Island’s Mait Davis finished second in the Optimist Red Fleet at Sail West, Sail Canada’s Western regional regatta, and third overall, representing the North Shore Sailing Team at West Vancouver Yacht Club. Mait grew up sailing with Bowen Island Yacht Club’s Learn 2 Sail and, at age 14, is racing competitively with NSST.
