Bowen RCMP station reopening July 13

The Bowen Island RCMP detatchment is reopening its doors to the public as of July 13.

“Those seeking police assistance or questions are still encouraged to phone in complaints when possible in order to limit numbers in our front counter space and practice physical distancing,” said a press release.

Front counter service ceased in March as a COVID precaution though other RMCP duties carried on as usual.

Detachments aren’t offering finger printing services at this time said the release.

Bowen’s detachment hours are Tuesdays to Thursdays 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
