A local teenager's parents are thanking the community and RCMP after their son was found safe Saturday evening.
Friday, the RCMP had asked the public for help locating 14-year-old Christopher Park, who'd last been seen the evening of Oct. 21.
"We found Christopher near the UBC area around 11 p.m.," said mother Karen Kim in a Facebook post in a Bowen community group early Oct. 25.
"Thank you for your prayers and love of care. We would like to express our gratitude beyond words to everyone.
"It was an unforgettable feeling to meet the people of the Bowen community who went out to find Chris and we thank you for the love you continued to send us in text or email," she said. Kim also thanked Bowen RCMP Cst. Greg Copeland in her post.
