Bowen RCMP are looking for anyone who might have witnessed or has information about an altercation on Trunk Road Friday morning.
"The Bowen Island RCMP continue to gather evidence and information from anyone involved in the assault that occurred in the early hours of August 3, 2018," said Cpl. Paulo Arreaga of Bowen RCMP.
A Bowen man was taken to hospital with serious injuries Friday.
"Our focus is to determine the circumstances, identify and preserve evidence, and conduct a thorough investigation," he said. "Assaults are disturbing and can generate apprehension in a peaceful community. This is a rare occurrence for Bowen Island." Anyone with information is asked to contact Bowen RCMP at 604-947-0516.
