Dear Editor,
Two weeks ago 2 shoeboxes full of used postage stamps were left at the post office for Save the Children Canada. When Mrs. Rowe, the Save the Children volunteer who sells the stamps to dealers, received the stamps she was once again impressed by and grateful for the contributions made by Bowen Islanders.
If any others have used stamps to contribute, please leave them at the post office and I’ll pick them up and pass them on to Save the Children. The money raised helps children in need worldwide. Thank you for your support.
