Dear Editor,
Among many others, I was sorry to learn that Adam Taylor will be leaving Bowen. Adam has been a great contributor to the community for many years, and also brings the perspective of many generations to the modernization of the Island (for better or worse).
I have enjoyed great times working with dam on Bowfest, the early days of the Bowen Island Community Foundation, Deep Bay clean-ups with tons of garbage removed and carefully weighed (Adam insisted) every year, and enjoyed many of his spectacular dives and nature tours around the shores of Bowen to show the kids and older kids the wonders of marine life right below our feet. On top of all this, Adam has always been a friendly and helpful neighbour, whatever task needed to be done.
