DEAR EDITOR:
I am most impressed by the community spirit shown by Ela and Hadley by their endevours to pick up beer and pop cans across the island. As one who frequently picks up cans on Cowan Point Road, I wish to commend the volunteer work of these girls.
Not only is tossing of cans from car windows littering, it’s evidence of a troubling pattern of drinking and driving by those responsible. Come on folks, we as an island community are better than this. Show some pride and follow the example of Ela and Hadley.
