Canada's top health official Dr. Theresa Tam and the BC Centre for Disease Control took to Twitter to call out acts of racism and misinformation online due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Young men and older adults from Richmond are needed for a survey about COVID-19.

Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) launched a survey in early May to get feedback about the general scope of the outbreak, for example, to see what key risk groups were, and their testing strategy.

The survey will also help the health agencies understand how effective their communication has been on staying safe in the pandemic.

They are still looking for Richmond residents to respond to the survey, in particular, men and women 75 years old and older, and men aged 18 to 34.
