The new Capstan Station is scheduled to open in 2024.

Disruptions to Canada Line service in Richmond due to the Capstan Station construction will finally end after three months.

Trains will resume regular service on Wednesday, Dec. 20 after closing early at 9:30 p.m. on weekdays since August.

The closure was necessary to allow crews to work on the new Capstan Station, according to TransLink, who had to work on the station roof and platform and integrate the station with the existing track.

The station was originally set to open this year but was delayed to early 2024 due to a supply chain issue.
