Born and raised in Hudson's Hope, Tom Summer has been contributing to the pages of the Alaska Highway News and the Dawson Creek Mirror since 2016, covering crime, community and civic affairs.

With the unfortunate closure of those publications, he's joined the Prince George Citizen team to continuing delivering news about the Peace Region and Northern BC, but lives and writes from Nakusp, in the Arrow Lakes.
