Getting to know Snug Cove

It's Heritage Week and what better way to learn about Bowen Island's history than to take a walk through the cove. On Saturday, February 25, from 10 to 11 a.m., walk leader Will Husby will meet interested islanders outside the Snug Cafe.

The journey of a young violinist

Willow Gilbert auditioned for the West Vancouver Strings Orchestra in June of 2010. She was accepted to play with this orchestra and just loves the experience. Willow has also played for a season with the Vancouver debut Symphony from 2009 to 2010.
