Bowen Island Fire Rescue welcomed the arrival of their new Pumper Truck on Friday afternoon, Aug. 26. Randy Arnott, Kevin Toews and retired firefighter Bob Robinson drove the truck here all the way from Winnipeg.
Arnott, who has been with the department more than 41 years, received the honours of driving the truck off the ferry to its new home at the new Fire Hall on Miller Road. The facility is expected to be up and running later this month.
