Members of the Bowen Island Gymnastics Club had plenty of reason to smile the last weekend of April after a series of strong performances at all stations during the island’s invitational competition at Bowen Island Community School.
The Bowen girls were joined by athletes from Surrey, Pemberton, Vancouver, and Squamish throughout the day-long event. Some of the local athletes are gearing up for a trip to Holland this summer to take part in the World Gymnaestrada event.
