Dear Editor I am writing to clarify comments made at the BI council meeting of March 24 and recorded in March 28 Undercurrent regarding the Economic Development Committee (EDC).

Dear Editor- I am writing to salute the power of the comma, and to correct any misunderstanding about what I said at a recent council meeting.

Dear Editor, On March 17, a special council meeting was held to accept the resignations of two councillors. Six or seven members of the public showed up to watch as remaining councillors dealt with this matter.

25 years ago in the Undercurrent The Islands Trust had given the Union Steampship Marina bylaw a fourth reading making it final. A development permit was issued to determine the style of the buildings.
