Dear Editor: Bowen Islanders! Please save the stamps from your Christmas cards and take them to the Bowen post office.

Dear Mayor and Council: Thank you for having Seniors Road plowed after I phoned on Monday morning. The road was dangerous for many days due to the accumulation of snow and ice.

Dear Editor: Just recently Woodfibre LNG has applied to have its Natural Gas Export license extended from 25 to 40 years. Yes, you heard me right.

Thank you snow… for bringing it all to a grinding halt on Monday. Well not all of it. There were commuters who still got on boats and buses, and endured upwards of 2 hours travel just to get to work and back.

Dear Editor, How many Bowen Islanders does it take to find a set of keys? In my case, this first Sunday in December, it took quite a few. My adventure started around 11 a.m. While waiting to catch the 11:30 ferry, I was putting up some posters.
