Meet the course's two new driving forces

Dear Editor: I appreciate the recent letter by John Sbragia in the Undercurrent emphasizing that any rezoning plan for the Cape should follow the Official Community Plan (OCP).

Editor: Re: Author documents Trans Mountain fight in novel , NOW , June 6 Author Robyn Allan is totally correct in decrying the destructive impact of a potential ocean oil spill in her novel.

It was likely the largest mobilization of humans in both Canadian and world history. In Canada alone roughly one million men were sent overseas. They put their life on hold and left their families behind to fight in the Second World War.

This letter is in response to John Dowler's May 16 letter online published as "Envisioning the future of the Cape on Bowen."

Now looking at rezoning the remaining 30-odd lots at Cape Roger Curtis, the Cape on Bowen developers are reaching out to islanders with the help of a long time opponent.
