Bowen's men's fastpitch championship 2019
The 2019 men's fastpitch championship Aug. 9-11 saw semi finals between the Diggers and the Brewers and then the Cruisers and the Shakers. The weekend culminated in a rematch of last year's final: Diggers and Cruisers (to the same result).

Number 19 of the Brewers in the first semi-final game of the weekend demonstrates his speed skating form as he sprints to first.

The dugout is tense as the innings dwindle.

While it looks like they're attending the tamest rock concert ever, these Diggers are counting outs.

Even levitating off first wasn't enough to help the Brewers and the Diggers won.

In the second semi-final game, the Cruisers took an early lead, (even though the Shakers had a catcher who could catch with his eyes closed.)

Home run high fives.

Do not underestimate the power of the glowing green orb.

This year's ball tournament hosts, the Cruisers, goaded teams with a blown up poster of team owner Eddie Weismiller.

The dance off is a little-known feature of the annual fastpitch tournament.

What did I say about the green orb?

The Shakers and Cruisers were neck and neck near the end of the game, which sent it into extra innings.

But the Cruisers were victorious.

So then it was the Diggers and the Cruisers in the final.

And the repeat champions, the Diggers, won.

So outgoing president of the league Spencer Grundy kicked off the awards ceremony.
