AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro won reelection Tuesday to the U.S. House in Texas' 20th Congressional District. The San Antonio congressman will serve his seventh term in Congress after first being elected in 2012.

Republican Riley Moore won election to an open U.S. House seat representing West Virginia on Tuesday. Moore defeated Democrat Steven Wendelin. The congressional seat that covers the northern half of the state was vacated by Rep. Alex Mooney.

Vice President Kamala Harris won Illinois on Tuesday, claiming the state's 19 electoral votes for Democrats. The reliably blue state, the home of former President Barack Obama, has supported Democratic presidential candidates since 1992.

Democrat LaMonica McIver won election to a U.S. House seat representing New Jersey on Tuesday. McIver defeated Republican Carmen Bucco and a handful of third-party candidates.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Jim Justice won a U.S. Senate race from West Virginia on Tuesday, flipping a seat to the Republican Party after Joe Manchin decided not to seek reelection .

Democratic Rep. Lizzie Fletcher won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Texas on Tuesday. She defeated Republican Caroline Kane of Cypress to secure a third term in office.

Republican Jefferson Shreve won election to a U.S. House seat representing Indiana on Tuesday.

Republican Rep. Carol Miller won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing West Virginia on Tuesday. Miller defeated a Democrat and an independent candidate to earn her fourth term.

Democrat Matt Meyer won the election for Delaware governor Tuesday, defeating Republican Michael Ramone.

Democrat Morgan McGarvey won election to a U.S. House seat representing Kentucky on Tuesday. McGarvey defeated Republican Mike Craven to win a second term in the Louisville-area district.
