On March 29, Hilary and Robin Butler will share their experiences walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. The Camino de Santiago is a well-known pilgrimage hike in Spain.

This past February, Grade 8 & 9 students from Island Pacific School on Bowen Island took learning to the next level.

Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10 a.m., SKY welcomes Bowen Islander Sylvia Adams of Thumbprint Books who will give a presentation on what to do with old family photos and memorabilia.

On March 16, 2015 the Bowen Island Garden Club welcomes Charlie Sale who will give a presentation titled “Managing Shade.” Charlie describes himself as a “serious gardener” of 50 years.

Spring has sprung very early this year. If you look closely at some of our local Hazel trees, you’ll see tiny pink sea-anenome-like pink blossoms beginning to shrivel up, though the catkins still dance yellow in the sun and breeze.
