The Bowen Island Municipality's community recreation department is planning a block party and extends an invitation to islanders of all ages to join the fun on Sunday, September 30, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Bowen Island Community School.

Starting from Monday, September 10, open council meetings are live streamed at the Bowen Island Municipality's website at www.bimbc.ca/livestream . The first council meeting to receive live coverage was the 9 a.m. meeting on Monday, September 10.
