To the Editor, Please allow me to use your pages to thank the many people who worked behind the scenes to make last weekend’s run of Shakespeare’s Cymbeline such a success.

On Saturday, inspired by the likes of Sam Knowles I took to the streets. Well, actually, I just took to my street, with a bag and a rake and a strong desire to remove as many piles of poop and bags of poop (doggie, I’m thinking) as possible.

25 years ago in the Undercurrent Mid-February 1990 brought weather-woes to Bowen Island. Snow, wind and freezing temperatures wrought havoc on the power (or lack there of) and on commuters.

Whether we like it or not, the river of mentorship that runs through us is changing.

Dear Editor, Your article on the Bowen Video Store (13 February 2015) described the Netflix danger to video stores, including the Bowen store.

Dear Editor, It has been over ten years since I have written to The Undercurrent and council, but reading the various articles regarding Peter King’s downtown bus service has compelled me to compose a letter of support for this wonderful service.
