Commuters on the 7:30 ferry had reason to be happy this Wednesday, January 17, and so did the crew of the Bowen Queen: all cars were loaded onto the boat by 7:11am, with no overloads.

Back in 2015, childrens’ entertainers Bobs and Lolo recorded their song, Run Salmon Run, and that summer Bowen-based Turtle Box Productions created their music video.

One of my first years here, we have a first birthday party. There are tiaras. I wear one and forget to take it off. Later, I go to the store, pharmacy, Snug... everywhere. No one says a word. I pick up a hitch-hiker.
