Mary Letson of Positively Fit is giving the reindeer a bit of a rest this year. The annual Reindeer Run, a well-loved fundraiser that has raised thousands over the years for the Christmas Hamper, will not be taking place this year.

Bonita Lai's family thought she was crazy allowing her only son Eric Lai to join the army. After three years of training, at the age of 22, Cpl. Lai was sent over to Afghanistan to serve his first tour.
