Once an NDP government elects a speaker, there will be 43 MLAs on each side of the House. It’s an untenable situation, says former attorney general Geoffrey Plant

To the Editor: The article in on the kayak shop on the pier (Bowen Island Sea Kayaking) in the June 16 issue of The Undercurrent mentioned how popular the kayaks are with tourists from around the world.

The current crisis of addiction, depression and anxiety should not to be blamed only on people’s lifestyle, genetics or ‘disorders’. These are symptoms of profound disconnection that human beings are experiencing all over the world.

Dear Editor, On April 26, 2017, the Metro Parks Committee, at a meeting held on Bowen, received a staff report recommending two options for the future of the Union Steamship resort-era cottages in Davies Orchard.

Dear Editor, The surviving cottages in Davies Orchard, however timeworn and humble should not be evaluated for their restorability or utility alone.
