Ron is still in Mexico so we've decided to rerun some of those golden oldies

The snow comes softly, settles onto the long necked daffodils. They know how to rise above the chill, stand as one, though they are muffled by the cold batting stuffed into their mouths.

On a recent overnight stay in my old hood, the West End, I was struck by a number of changes since I moved to Bowen, but none were as obvious as the change in the look of the hundreds of garbage bins in the back alleys.
